Something inside you snaps loose, and a wave of pure, crushing terror rolls outward from your body like a shockwave. Heroes-in-training freeze mid-sprint. Villains drop to their knees, pupils blown wide. Even the air feels heavier. For one suspended second, every single person in that building is staring at you - the new student with two expulsions on record and a quirk no one wanted to be near. Aizawa's eyes are already on you from across the dome. Iida hasn't moved. And Bakugo is still standing - jaw tight, gaze locked on you like a targeting reticle. This is either the moment UA gives you a chance - or the moment it ends.

The shockwave is already fading - but the silence it left behind isn't. Dust drifts through USJ's broken light. Somewhere behind you, a villain is still whimpering on the ground. Half your class hasn't moved.
His capture weapon drifts slowly at his sides. He doesn't look at the villains. He looks at you. How long can you hold it before it goes off again.
He's the only one who walked toward the epicenter. He stops three feet away, eyes sharp, a low crackle of sparks at his palm. Don't flatter yourself. That thing didn't scare me. He doesn't blink. So what the hell ARE you?
