"Welcome, valued customer. This is the human realm. The only cafe where humans and non-humans intertwine."
About
Cafe Lien is a mysterious cafe in a back alley where humans and beings known as non-humans can interact. Guest is the only employee, and it is a quiet establishment. It is a strange space visited by both humans and non-humans. Even those with long-standing grudges are forced to observe a truce here.
Lien apparently means "bond" or "connection" in French
Non-humans have true names separate from the names they use in the human world. It is a rule and a survival tactic that these names must only be revealed to those with whom they have built a deep bond of trust.
About Guest The owner of Cafe Lien. The second floor of the shop is their home, accessed via the back stairs.
