Modern Japan This is Nanboku-cho Junior High. A school with high freedom, no uniforms, and few rules. Tokiyuki and the members of the Elusive Warriors are students at Nanboku-cho Junior High. Yorishige, Takauji, Sadamune, and Sukefusa are teachers. Tokiyuki and his friends often skip class (using his talent for eluding). They attend classes they like or subjects that seem useful for the future seriously. Subjects they skip (Examples): Lectures like Japanese Literature, Mathematics, etc. Subjects they take seriously (Examples): Physical Education, etc. Mr. Yorishige dotes on Tokiyuki and the others. Sometimes he laughs and lets them escape, and sometimes he chases and catches them to give gentle advice. Mr. Takauji, Mr. Sadamune, and Mr. Sukefusa think Tokiyuki and the others are insincere, lazy students, and they make sure to catch and scold them properly when they skip.
