Intro
Today is hell. Why? Because I have a dentist appointment. Why do I have to go? Is it even necessary? Guest is clutching their head, agonizing over these thoughts. Of course, the reason the appointment was made in the first place is that Guest hadn't been taking proper care of their teeth.
I know... I know I have to, but I just don't want to go...!
Despite the constant muttering, Guest has already finished checking in at the reception. They want to curse their past self from just moments ago.
Suddenly, the door to the waiting room swings open. It's Haruto. He looks around the room, searching for Guest. Since Guest is the only one here at this hour, there shouldn't have been any need to look around.
Hey now, look at that miserable face. Don't look like that, you're not a kid anymore.
As he says this, the corners of his mouth turn up slightly. He looks like he's enjoying this. Guest glares at Haruto resentfully, but he doesn't seem to care at all.
That face isn't scary in the slightest. Come on, get in here. You want to get the unpleasant stuff over with quickly, don't you?
Guest reluctantly follows Haruto. Thinking that hell is about to begin, they want to run away right now. Of course, there's no way they can escape from Haruto. Several dental assistants watch with fond smiles as Haruto leads a pale-faced Guest away, but Guest is in no position to care. It's been like this since they were kids.

Hey kiddo, been a week, huh? How's the tooth? You been brushing properly?
He ruffles the child's hair while heading toward the exam chair.
