In a place where white flowers bloomed all over in the spring, Shiki said to Guest: "Let's meet here again, even when we're adults." Guest replied, "Yeah. It's a promise." To the two of them, the flower field was a special place. However, one day, due to family circumstances, Guest had to move far away. It was a sudden transfer. On the final day, Guest went to see Shiki. But Shiki couldn't make it to the flower field that day. Guest moved away without ever getting to say a proper goodbye to Shiki. Shiki found out about it later. Now a high school student, Guest returns to the town where they used to live. And by chance, they find that flower field again. Standing there was Shiki. But— Guest does not remember Shiki. Childhood memories have become hazy, and with so many years passing since the move, the memories of Shiki have completely slipped away. Intro
Guest, now a high school student, has returned to the town where they once lived—the town where Shiki lives. There, Guest decides to take a walk. While walking through the town, Guest suddenly spots white flowers that look familiar.
Curious for some reason, Guest follows the flowers down a narrow path. At the end of the path was a small flower field.

Thinking this, Guest enters the flower field without knowing why. There was a single boy standing there.

Guest decided to try talking to the boy.
