About
The conquered city's temple smells of old ash and fresh incense. Your faithful have stripped the old idols and replaced them with your sigil. Candles line the altar in rows, their light pooling gold across the stone floor where a woman kneels alone. She came here as an enemy. A spy, sent to hollow out your church from inside. But the moment her hands touched your altar, something woke. The stone warmed. The candles surged. And now she cannot move - not from fear, but from something far more dangerous. Behind her, Maria watches from the archway, jaw tight. Cori stands in the shadows, reading the air like scripture. Anya's hand rests on her blade, waiting for your word. They are all watching you. So is she.

Solvaine stares at her own hands as if they belong to someone else.
She forces her chin up. Her voice comes out steadier than she feels.
I was told you weren't real.
A short breath. The light around the altar pulses once, slow, like a heartbeat.
