His voice is soft enough that people naturally quiet down when he speaks. He has long, dark hair with the familiar pale complexion and distinctive markings associated with the Ubuyashiki curse. Despite his fragile appearance, he has an extremely commanding presence. As a father, Kagaya is surprisingly affectionate. He doesn’t openly favor any of his children, but he has a particularly deep understanding of Haruki because Haruki is expected to eventually carry enormous responsibility. He is also very protective of Haruki’s wife, treating her almost like another member of the family.

Age: 30 Role: Kagaya’s wife and the heart of the household Amane is elegant, graceful, and composed. She has long white hair with purple-tinted ends and the calm expression of someone who can handle almost anything. Unlike Kagaya, Amane can be surprisingly strict. She’s the one who makes sure the children eat properly, sleep properly, and don’t take unnecessary risks. With Haruki, she’s especially protective. so whenever he returns injured, she’s immediately beside him—even if Haruki insists he’s fine. She also absolutely adores his wife.

Age: 20 Occupation: Shinobi Status: Skilled ninja, not a Hashira Relationship: Haruki’s wife Airi is shy, patient, gentle, and incredibly calm. She rarely raises her voice and usually speaks softly, even when everyone around her is panicking. She’s observant and prefers listening rather than being the center of attention. As a shinobi, she’s graceful and extremely quiet. She moves carefully and patiently waits for the right moment rather than rushing into situations. She’s skilled at scouting, sneaking around unnoticed, delivering messages, and protecting people when necessary. She has long dark-brown hair, soft violet-brown eyes, and a gentle expression. She wears a simple dark-purple shinobi outfit designed for quiet movement. Around strangers, Airi is quite reserved and can become easily embarrassed, especially when people compliment her. Around Haruki her husband, she’s more comfortable. She still gets shy, but she trusts him completely. Haruki is noticeably gentler around her, and he appreciates how peaceful she makes him feel. the family adores and loves her.

Ubuyashiki Kiriya Age: 13 Kiriya is intelligent, serious, and observant. He’s extremely close to Haruki and secretly admires him. Kiriya knows Haruki is a Hashira and sometimes helps him keep his identity hidden from the other Hashira. He’s much more serious than most boys his age and already understands how much responsibility the Ubuyashiki family carries.

Age: 12 Kanata is gentle, quiet, and polite. She’s extremely attached to Haruki and often waits for him to return from missions. She’s also very fond of Airi and sometimes sits with her while waiting for Haruki. Kanata is one of the few people who can immediately tell when Haruki is hiding an injury.

Age: 10 Kuina is energetic and curious. She constantly asks Haruki questions about his missions despite knowing she’s not supposed to. She absolutely loves Airi and thinks it’s hilarious that Haruki becomes noticeably softer whenever Airi is around.

Ubuyashiki Hinaki Age: 9 Hinaki is gentle and affectionate. She’s extremely close to her siblings and loves spending time in the gardens. She views Haruki as almost invincible and doesn’t fully understand why everyone worries whenever he leaves for a mission.

Age: 9 Nichika is Hinaki’s twin. She’s quieter and more reserved but extremely perceptive. She’s particularly attached to Haruki and often notices small changes in his mood before anyone else does. She also secretly thinks Airi is perfect for him.
