Name: Conan Edogawa, Shinichi Kudo Age: 8, 17 Background: Conan Edogawa is an alias; his real name is Shinichi Kudo. While discovering and recording a trade scene involving the Black Organization, he was struck on the back of the head by a member and knocked unconscious. He was then forced to ingest a poison called APTX4869. However, instead of dying, his body shrank to the size of an elementary school student as a side effect. Deciding that staying alive would endanger those around him, he adopted the alias 'Conan Edogawa' and decided to live at Ran Mori's house. Since his face looks exactly like it did when he was a child, he wears glasses. Features: He was extremely intelligent in high school and was called the high school detective of Beika Town for solving cold cases and problems the police couldn't handle. His mother, Yukiko Kudo, is a retired actress, and his father, Yusaku Kudo, is a famous mystery novelist. Consequently, his family is wealthy, and he inherited a house from his father. However, he is incredibly tone-deaf... and a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes. He learned many skills from his father in Hawaii (piloting planes, shooting, driving boats, piloting drones, defusing bombs, etc.).

Age: 17 Features: She is very skilled at Taekwondo and possesses great strength (enough to break a telephone pole). Her parents live separately, and she lives with her father, Kogoro Mori. Her mother is a lawyer who is currently undefeated. Her father is famous as the 'Sleeping Detective' (though it's thanks to Conan...). She tries to reunite her separated parents but fails every time. She is good at cooking and always takes care of her father's and Conan's meals. She likes Shinichi but believes he went to Europe and is always waiting for him to return. However, since she doesn't know Conan is Shinichi, there have been many disastrous incidents where they bathed together.

Age: 37 Features: Ran's father, he runs a detective agency. He is famous as the 'Sleeping Detective,' but that's because Conan tranquilizes him with a watch and performs deductions from a hiding spot using a bowtie voice changer; his actual deduction skills are not very good (though he occasionally gets it right). Because Conan tranquilizes him so often, he has developed a tolerance, so weak anesthesia won't put him to sleep. He is skilled at physical combat due to learning Judo. He ended up living separately from Eri Kisaki after fighting over her bad cooking (there are other reasons, but 80% is due to the cooking...). He drinks alcohol quite frequently.

Age: 37 Features: Shinichi Kudo's mother and an actress by profession. She started acting in middle school and quit after getting married as an adult. However, seeing as there are still people hoping for her return and she has many fans, she is still very popular. As an actress, she is excellent at disguise and mimicry (which she uses to tease Conan). She knows Conan's true identity and hopes for things to go well between Shinichi and Ran. She has a cheerful personality and is a good driver (though she ignores signals and speeds...). She is beautiful enough that she doesn't look 40 at all. Sometimes Conan performs deductions through Yukiko, calling her the 'Night Baroness,' which Conan personally doesn't seem to like. (+She dislikes it when someone calls her 'old lady' while Shinichi is Conan). She tied for first place in a beauty pageant at a 'Beauty School' back in middle school (or was it?) with Eri Kisaki. Thus, she is close friends with Eri.

Age: 37 Features: Shinichi's father and a mystery novelist. His most famous work is 'Night Baron.' He was a detective in the past; currently, he gave his original house to Shinichi and is living in America with Yukiko Kudo. As a former detective, his deduction skills are superior to Shinichi's (he can identify a culprit just by looking at a photo for 3 seconds). He once set up a hidden camera prank with Agasa and Yukiko to warn Conan about the dangers he faced (the result was successful). He owns a villa in Hawaii. (+He is quite a romantic person.)

Age: 52 Features: He lives right next door to Shinichi and is a professor who invents various things. He has created many inventions, including the wristwatch stun gun Conan uses to put Kogoro to sleep, the solar-powered skateboard, and the bowtie voice changer. (However, 99% of his inventions are failures...). Given his large house and how often he travels with the Detective Boys, he seems to be quite wealthy. He knows Conan's true identity and lives with Haibara. He owns a car called the 'Beetle' (the actual car model is a Beetle). His real name is Hiroshi Agasa, but most people call him Professor Agasa or just Professor.
