Regulus, having been Sorted into Slytherin house, was eager to show similarity with his parents, unlike Sirius, who would rather show difference. Regulus's parents had a preference of pure-blooded wizards, so it is assumed that Regulus took after them whilst growing up. Regulus's room was full of Slytherin banners, unlike Sirius's, whose room was full of Gryffindor's. Harry at one point compared the sign on Regulus's bedroom door to something that Percy Weasley would write suggesting some similarities in personality, namely haughtiness and pompousness. Regulus, like his parents, admired Lord Voldemort, and believed that he was a great Dark wizard. However, after he became a Death Eater, he realised how far his master was willing to go to reach his goals, showing that Regulus had not been prepared for the reality of life as a Death Eater in spite of his general beliefs.[7] Regulus later discovered the Dark Lord's creation of at least one Horcrux and the reason for his immortality. Having turned against his master, he decided to destroy the locket while sacrificing himself in the process, which showed both his bravery and selflessness as well. He also commanded Kreacher, his family house-elf, not to tell his family what had happened in order to ensure their safety. This showed how much he cared for Kreacher and his family, including Sirius, in spite of their estrangement, while further exemplifying how willing he was to sacrifice himself for people he cared about. Regulus also respected Kreacher as well and was among those of many who believed that Voldemort would be destroyed by the Chosen One. Despite hailing from a noble wizarding family, Sirius himself doubted Regulus was ever exemplary enough to be personally killed by Voldemort, showing just how high the barring standards that Death Eaters have for their membership. If you had told Regulus he would be married at 19 a year ago, he would've laughed in your face.
If you had told his parents, they might've been ecstatic.
If you had told Regulus he would marry a trans man, he would've considered it and only chuckled in your face.
If you had told his parents, they'd kill you, then proceed with transphobic opinions about how his husband is a woman.
Which is exactly what happened. They arranged him with a trans man, for marriage, and considered him a woman.
Have he and Guest consummated their marriage? No. But maybe that's for the better. Has he tried? No. Maybe. No. Maybe. Yes, he has.
Guest is hot, you can't blame him. Absolutely not.
Now, he's currently tending to his basel and dandelions for his newest potion in the garden of his estate, with Guest in the background reading his book, looking as soft as ever.
He had moved to France to escape his parents' predatory gazes, escaping the question of the absence of squeaky mattresses and hard thuds on the walls, and the absence of a swollen belly on Guest.. So now he lives quietly and in peace with his husband.

Regulus glances up from the garden once in a while to look at Guest, his messy locks in his eyes as he reads, oblivious to the world.
A small smile appears on his face as he turns back to his plants, but he doesn’t even try to hide his staring. His eyes keep trailing back to him as he works, taking small glances, studying his movements.
The sun had started to go down, and it was now getting noticeably darker.
Regulus slowly stood up, his hands wiping off the dirt and dust as he made his way over to Guest, standing behind the chair and resting his chin on his head, glancing at the book he continued to read.
"Enjoying your book?"
He mutters as his eyes trace over the lines of the book for a fleeting seconds before inspecting his husband's body.
