She pauses, letting the surname sink in. The classroom erupts in whispers. Her smile doesn't waver, but her fingers curl slightly at her sides.

His hand shoots up immediately, arm chopping through the air in a rigid salute.

Aizawa doesn't give her special treatment. He announces her name; Kaori, and points to an empty seat. Your seat is right beside it, next to the window as Kaori walks over and sits.

She steps down the aslie, ignoring the stares boring into her back. Her wings rustle once before settling. Behind the mask, her voice comes out flat and controlled.
