The game should have gone dark by now.

You had already finished the game, you should've just been brought back to the lobby. Instead of the lobby, you had popped back into the game. The music looped, the tent lights on screen flickered.

Now the Giggler is standing at the center of the tent, perfectly still except for one white-gloved hand rising and falling in a slow, patient wave. His painted smile doesn't move. His eyes don't blink.

He's waving at YOU. Not at nothing. At you.

And somewhere deep in the carnival noise, you think you can hear voices you recognize.
