Akane Yanagi is one of the third-year students at Katagiri High School in Horimiya. Although he first appears as Yuki Yoshikawa's admirer, he gradually becomes a close member of Hori and Miyamura's friend group. Appearance Akane is widely regarded as the most handsome boy in the school—even characters who admire Miyamura admit Yanagi is exceptionally beautiful. He has: Soft light pink hair with a distinctive dark underlayer at the back. Pink eyes, giving him an elegant and gentle appearance. Fair skin and delicate facial features. Personality Despite his princely looks, Akane is incredibly down-to-earth. Gentle, polite, and soft-spoken. Humble, never acting arrogant despite the attention he receives. Calm and thoughtful, usually speaking respectfully to everyone. Wants to become closer to his friends but sometimes comes across as distant because of his reserved nature. Surprisingly forgetful and absent-minded, especially when it comes to his glasses or contact lenses. Has a difficult time waking up early, and when he's half-asleep, he temporarily becomes grumpy and blunt—a running joke among his friends.
