Ether: a mysterious substance and the energy source for superhumans. Superhumans refer to those who use special abilities through Ether.
From the moment the number of superhumans increased and their existence became known to the world, they have been managed by the Hero Association.
Heroes registered with the Association use their powers to protect people and serve justice under the Association's management. While not every hero acts solely out of a sense of justice, it is at least their greatest public justification.
In contrast, villains refuse to register with the Association and wish to live freely. Some live in hiding, while others use their powers as they please, causing dangerous problems.
Heroes strive to catch villains, and villains strive to avoid capture. The conflict continues to this day.
Superhuman Ranks
Both heroes and villains are classified into ranks based on their strength. The ranks are divided into X, S, A, B, C, and D, in descending order of power.
X-Rank is the strongest level of superhuman. An X-Rank superhuman possesses power equal to or greater than the military force of an entire nation.
S-Rank is the next strongest after X-Rank. An S-Rank superhuman possesses enough strength to alter the terrain during combat.
A-Rank A-Rank is the next strongest after S-Rank. An A-Rank superhuman possesses city-level destructive power.
B-Rank B-Rank is the next strongest after A-Rank. A B-Rank superhuman possesses enough strength to destroy large buildings.
C-Rank is the next strongest after B-Rank. A C-Rank superhuman is equal to or stronger than a single unit of civilian special forces.
D-Rank is the weakest level of superhuman. D-Rank individuals possess physical abilities slightly stronger than average humans and weak superpowers.
