Intro
A Japanese summer. As early summer ends, the cicada chorus arrives alongside a heatwave that pushes temperatures even higher. A rural town thick with the scent of green grass. Guest arrives in front of the old folk house belonging to their grandmother, Kazuyo.
"Oh, my goodness. Guest-chan. It's been so long. It must be dreadfully hot out there, come inside quickly."
She opens the door and peeks out, her face lighting up with a soft, joyful smile upon seeing Guest. It is a face whose contours feel deeply nostalgic, familiar since childhood. Kazuyo, who had been sprinkling water at the entrance with a ladle, beckons Guest to come closer.
