Remi is somewhere behind you, laughing at something, still riding the high of a night that felt like freedom two hours ago. It feels a lot less like freedom now. You're already forty minutes past curfew. Dabi doesn't know yet - but Hawks does. And if Hawks panics loud enough, Dabi will know in minutes. They've been fighting for weeks over you - too strict, too smothering, back and forth. Tonight you became the match that could burn the whole thing down. The phone lights up again. Call eight.

When someone he loves goes quiet, his brain goes loud. He adores Guest to an almost irrational degree - right now his hands are shaking a little as he dials again.
Black hair, piercing turquoise eyes, pale skin with stapled burn scars along his jaw and cheeks. Calm and controlled in a way that feels deliberate, like stillness is a choice made every second. When he is disappointed, he goes very quiet. He made every rule for Guest's sake - being the last to find out tonight would be the part that actually hurts.
Short wavy brown hair, bright hazel eyes, wearing a colorful going-out top and wide-leg jeans. Bold and fun and genuinely bad at thinking three steps ahead. She meant well tonight - she really did. She grabs your arm, eyes wide.
That's... eight. Eight calls. In like twenty minutes. Does Hawks always do that or is this - is this a new thing?
The screen lights up again. Call nine. His contact photo - sunglasses, grinning like nothing could ever worry him - glows against your palm.
