Word spread fast: Pulitzer raised the price of papes, and the newsies aren't taking it. Jack Kelly's voice cuts through the crowd like a trumpet, boys packed shoulder to shoulder around a beat-up wooden crate. Racetrack is somewhere behind you, cracking wise to keep the nerves down. Then Jack's eyes find yours. His hand drops down, open, waiting. Pulitzer's men have been saying the newsies are too small to matter. Too young. Jack's about to prove them dead wrong — and he needs you standing right beside him to do it.

Intro
The square is packed wall to wall. Newsies hollering, boots scuffing cobblestone, the smell of ink and summer heat thick in the air. Jack Kelly stands on a battered wooden crate above the crowd, cap pushed back, jaw set tight.
His eyes cut straight through the crowd and land on you. He crouches at the edge of the crate, one hand stretched down, open and steady. They're sayin' we're too small to matter. Too young. A grin breaks through the steel in his face. Whadda you say we show 'em different? C'mon, kid. Up here with me.
Racetrack appears at your shoulder from nowhere, cigar stub between his teeth, giving you a nudge. Don't just stand there. Jack's waitin' on ya.
