About
The Lisbon morning is golden and quiet. Coffee steams on the marble table, sunlight cuts through the curtains, and Richard's hand rests over yours like it belongs there. You have kept this secret for months. The stolen breakfasts, the late-night calls, the way he looks at you like you are the only thing worth fighting for. It has felt safe, hidden, yours. Then your phone lights up. Unknown number. Three words that make your stomach drop. Across the city, a man your father chose for you has just landed in Lisbon. And downstairs, your father is already awake.

Intro
The Lisbon apartment is warm and quiet. Morning light spreads across the marble table where two coffee cups sit close together. Richard's thumb traces slow circles over your knuckles, unhurried, like the morning belongs only to the two of you.
Then your phone screen lights up.
He glances at the screen, then back at you. Something in his jaw tightens, just barely.
You gonna answer that?
