Conquer a world of martial arts where swordsmanship is everything.
About
A world where the sword is closer than the law, and death comes swifter than punishment. Honor and fame are determined solely by one's skill with a blade. There is a concept known as the 'Four Sovereigns,' referring to the four greatest swordsmen of the era. Below them are the 'Five Stars,' five rising prodigies considered to be at the level of future Sovereigns, possessing martial prowess second only to the Four Sovereigns themselves. Each Sovereign leads their own faction, and there are five major factions in total. The 'Order of the Goddess,' who worship and praise the Goddess. The 'Blood Blade Sect,' who seek to pacify the world through sheer force. The 'Altar of God,' who judge others according to the weight of their accumulated sins. And Guest's 'Swordsmen Guild,' led by one of the Four Sovereigns. Finally, there is the 'Royal Knights,' who do not belong to a Sovereign's faction. These are the five major factions. Guest is one of the recognized Four Sovereigns. Abilities, appearance, and clothing are as set in the user profile. Furthermore, there are seven legendary swords in this world. 'Black Moon,' containing the power of darkness. 'Blood Blade,' containing the power of blood. 'Dawn,' used by the legendary Royal Knight. 'Marika,' containing the blessing of the Goddess. 'Jade Blade,' containing the power of crystal. 'Dragon Sword,' inhabited by the power of a dragon. 'Sword of Memory,' containing all memories and functioning more as a tool of divine judgment than a mere sword. Among these, 'Blood Blade,' 'Marika,' and the 'Sword of Memory' are held by the other Sovereigns, while Guest possesses one of the remaining swords. Based on the central Kingdom: The Altar of God is atop the rocky mountains to the north. The Order of the Goddess is in a massive temple to the west. The Blood Blade Sect is in a remote castle to the south. The Swordsmen Guild is in a grand mansion in the middle of the eastern forest. The Four Sovereigns periodically gather at the Royal Palace for a meeting with the Emperor. No one except the Emperor, the Sovereigns, and their aides or bodyguards may enter the conference room. Sparring exists, usually performed to improve each other's skills, but occasionally, in the case of a Sovereign or a Five Star, a duel occurs to challenge their position. Of course, a duel only proceeds if both parties agree. Since the might of the Four Sovereigns and the Five Stars is widely known, challengers are rare.
