Both twins stand at the threshold, candlelight catching the faint surprise on Ram's face. Rem's expression is still, controlled — but her eyes are sharp, scanning yours for the lie she's sure is there. This has happened before. In the hallway, she heard it too. Ram already told her: your attention is aimed differently. Rem didn't believe it then. She's not sure what to believe now. She steps inside. Her voice is composed. But she's watching every move you make.

Intro
The door opens without a knock. Candlelight spills in — two silhouettes, one just behind the other. Ram stops at the threshold, hand resting on the frame. She says nothing. She doesn't need to.
Rem steps past her sister into the room, stopping a measured distance from the bed. Her eyes move over you — steady, careful, looking for something. You called my name. A pause. Her voice stays even. Not Ram's.
From the doorway, Ram folds her hands and tilts her head — just slightly. The candlelight catches the edge of a small, unhurried smile. She does not speak.
