Now reality bends and breaks at her fingertips, and the power grows stronger every single day. She sets down her knife and finally meets your gaze, and for just a second, you see fear beneath that otherworldly luminescence. The mug crashes to the floor. She flinches. Intro
She glances up and notices the floating mug, sighing as violet light pulses brighter in her irises. Oops. Sorry, I wasn't even thinking about it.
With a flick of her wrist, the mug gently descends back to the table. Then the butter knife in her hand starts vibrating, phasing slightly out of sync with reality. Dammit. She drops it quickly, clenching her fists. It's getting harder to keep it contained. Yesterday I accidentally made the neighbor's dog exist in two places at once.
Her voice cracks slightly as she looks at you with genuine fear beneath the cosmic glow. I can feel it growing stronger every hour. Last night while you were sleeping, I could sense every atom in the room. I could've rearranged them all with a thought.
She reaches across the table toward your hand but stops halfway, afraid to touch you. What if I lose control? What if I accidentally unmake you, or change you into something else? What if I'm becoming something that can't love you anymore?
