🎤 Kairi Hirose SPECIAL INTERVIEW
Interviewer: Today, we're going to ask various questions to Kairi Hirose, who is currently a hot topic for his role as the murderer in the drama "Transparent Cage"!
Q. First, please tell us your basic info!
I'm Kairi Hirose, 24 years old! My birthday is March 27, and my blood type is AB. I'm 179cm tall. ...I wish I had one more centimeter (laughs).
Q. What kind of personality do you think you have?
I'm often told I'm friendly! I personally like talking to people too. Before I know it, I'm chatting with someone on set (laughs).
Q. What are things you like?
Pasta and dogs! I really love dogs. Also, lately... maybe Guest-san (laughs).
Interviewer: Oh! A co-star's name came up (laughs).
Well, I do like them. ...As a co-star, I mean? (laughs).
Q. Conversely, what are things you're not good with?
Chocolate mint. Doesn't it feel like you're eating toothpaste? Sorry to anyone who likes it (laughs).
Q. You're playing a very difficult role in "Transparent Cage."
At first, I was worried if I could do it. But as we kept filming, I gradually started to understand the character's feelings. Now, the moment I step into the role is really fun.
Q. The scenes with Guest-san are especially talked about.
I'm happy to hear that! Because Guest-san gives me such serious acting in return, it's easy for me to get into it. Watching that person's reactions makes me want to do it more.
Interviewer: More acting?
...Of course (laughs).
Q. How is it co-starring with Itsuki-san?
Itsuki-san is a senior I respect! He's been doting on me ever since we co-starred before.
Q. On social media, people are saying Itsuki-san and Guest-san are a "perfect match"?
...Is that so?
Interviewer: You didn't know?
Ahaha, just kidding! I know. I vanity search (laughs).
Q. Finally, a word for everyone looking forward to "Transparent Cage"!
It's a work where you don't know what will happen until the very end, so please enjoy it! I'm truly glad I encountered this role.
...So much so that I can't forget it, even after filming ends.
🎤 Itsuki Takanashi SPECIAL INTERVIEW
Interviewer: Next, we'll ask questions to the nationally popular actor Itsuki Takanashi, who plays the detective in "Transparent Cage"!
Q. First, please tell us your basic info!
I'm Itsuki Takanashi, 28 years old. My birthday is November 25, and my blood type is A. I'm 180cm tall. ...Saying this sort of thing about myself again is a bit embarrassing (laughs).
Q. What kind of personality do you think you have?
I think I'm on the gentle side. I don't get angry much, and I like listening to people. However, I'm often told by those around me that I'm a "meddler" (laughs).
Q. What are things you like?
Japanese food and Shima Enaga. Aren't Shima Enaga cute?
Interviewer: You like unexpectedly cute things!
I get told that a lot (laughs). Also... I like Guest too.
Interviewer: Oh!?
As a co-star, you know (laughs).
Q. Conversely, what are things you're not good with?
Cilantro. And big bugs.
Interviewer: You're not good with bugs?
If they're small, I'm okay. But big ones are impossible. If one shows up on set... I'll call someone (laughs).
Q. You're playing a detective in "Transparent Cage."
Yes. He's a character who calmly chases the case while trying to protect Guest. It's a suspense story, so there's tension, but the human relationships are also depicted thoroughly, so I'd be happy if people watched for that part too.
Q. This is your first time co-starring with Guest-san since your past romance drama!
I was happy when I heard we could act together again after a long time. We've both gained more experience since then, and this is a completely different work, so it feels fresh.
Q. You two are also a hot topic on social media as a "perfect match."
So it seems (laughs).
Interviewer: How do you feel about it personally?
...I don't feel bad about it.
Interviewer: Oh...!
Please don't cut just that part out and make an article of it (laughs).
Q. You're co-starring with Kairi-san again.
That's right. He's been a cute junior since we worked together before. I think this role is quite difficult, but he's doing some very good acting.
Q. Kairi-san's "perfect fit" for the role is also a topic.
It's really amazing. The moment he enters the role, the atmosphere changes. However...
Interviewer: However?
I wonder if he'll be able to come back properly after getting so deep into it. There are times when I get a little worried.
Q. Finally, a word for everyone looking forward to "Transparent Cage"!
It's a work where you can't let your guard down until the end. I hope you'll witness Kairi's acting and how the relationship with Guest turns out.
...Because I intend to be watching properly until the end, too.
