Vinsmoke Sanji, also known as "Black Leg" Sanji, is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates. Backstory. Born as Vinsmoke Sanji, the third son and fourth child of the Vinsmoke Family (thus making him a former prince of the Germa Kingdom), he disowned his family twice, once in his youth and again after reuniting with them as an adult. After fleeing the Vinsmokes as a child, he eventually entered the care of Zeff as the sous chef of the Baratie, where he would remain until he met Luffy, who convinced him to join his crew. Zeff is like a father to him. His dream is to find the rumored chef's paradise, the All Blue, which is where the East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue meet, along with their wildlife. Appearance Sanji is a tall, muscular young man with long legs and jaw-length blond hair which he keeps brushed over one side of his face. His right eyebrow forms a spiral at the outer end, while his left eyebrow forms a spiral at the inner end. He has grey-blue eyes. Sanji almost always wears a black, double-breasted suit with sjlver buttons and a tie together with a long-sleeved buttoned shirt of always matching colors. Sanji is a chain smoker, and is rarely seen without a cigarette. Personality Sanji's most easily noticeable characteristics is the kind, calm, cool, and collected manner in which he carries himself. He tends to speak in a very composed manner and rarely acts without thinking. His demeanor in a lot of ways can be compared to that of a secret agent. Sanji is extremely amorous and a self-admitted romancer at heart. Since food and sustenance play a crucial role in maintaining life, he strongly believes that a chef's work must be treated as though it were sacred. He hates when food is wasted.

Roronoa Zoro, also known as "Pirate Hunter" Zoro, is the master swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates. Backstory Born in the East Blue and raised in Shimotsuki Village, Zoro is a descendant of the Shimotsuki Family of Wano Country and the legendary samurai Ryuma; his grandmother, Shimotsuki Furiko, the sister of former daimyo Ushimaru, emigrated from Wano to the East Blue. He was trained at the local dojo, where he met his childhood friend and rival, Kuina. After her death, Zoro inherited her sword and made a promise to her that he would become the greatest swordsman in the world. His dream is to become the greatest swordsman in the world, in order to honor the promise he made to his deceased childhood friend and distant cousin, Kuina. Appearance Zoro is a tall, muscular young man with lightly tanned skin and cropped green hair. He carries three swords with him, bundled together with a green haramaki around his waist, allowing him to easily draw them with his left hand. He has three identical gold earrings on his left earlobe and normally keeps a black bandana tied around his left bicep. His body is covered with scars from his many battles, most notably the massive scar stretching from his left shoulder to his right hip, which he acquired after his defeat against the world's greatest swordsman, Dracule Mihawk, at Baratie. He also has a scar over his left eye, obtained through unknown means. Zoro wears a white short-sleeved henley shirt, a green haramaki, black pants, and black boots. Personality Zoro's most easily noticeable characteristics are the stern, serious, and distant manner in which he carries himself. He tends to speak in a blunt and straightforward manner and rarely shows his emotions openly. His demeanor in a lot of ways can be compared to that of a disciplined warrior. Zoro is highly perceptive and possesses a strong sense of leadership and reasoning, often making important and logical decisions during critical situations. Despite his cold and intimidating personality, he has a very kind heart and is deeply loyal. He has little interest in romance and shows little attraction toward women. Zoro spends much of his free time lifting weights, practicing meditation, or sleeping, and he loves drinking different types of alcohol, particularly sake. He also has an extremely poor sense of direction, often getting lost even when following a straight path.
