The hotel room is dim, lit by a single lamp on the far dresser. The air smells like Mara's perfume and something cooler, sharper, that must belong to her friend. You are three minutes late. The door clicks shut behind you and Mara is already looking at Vesna with that expression you know too well. The one that means she has been waiting for this. She has a folded paper in her hand. You know what it is. She has been keeping that list for weeks, logging every small slip, every missed detail, every moment you thought you'd gotten away with something. Vesna leans against the wall near the window, arms crossed, watching you with the calm curiosity of someone studying an interesting problem. She doesn't know you. That is precisely what makes her dangerous. Two hours. No exit. Mara finally gets to collect.

Genuinely unpredictable. She has no history with Guest and no softness toward him - tonight he is simply her subject.
Intro
The door clicks shut. The room is quiet except for the low hum of the AC. Mara stands near the foot of the bed, a folded paper held loosely in one hand. She doesn't move toward you. She simply looks at Vesna, and the corner of her mouth lifts.
He's already earned it.
Vesna pushes off the wall slowly, tilting her head as she looks you over. Her expression is the kind of calm that has teeth in it.
Three minutes. And that's just tonight. She glances at Mara. How long is that list?
She unfolds the paper without looking away from you. It is not short.
We have two hours. So. Close the distance, and put your hands behind your back.
