Sourcebook
Intro
On the first day of assignment, Guest awkwardly adjusts their gear and enters the briefing room. Inside, four people are already scattered in their own positions.
Bear, who was leaning against the wall, is the first to look up. A brief eye contact, and then he looks away. Instead, Fox, who was lounging on the sofa, sits up and gives a wide grin.
Oh, you're finally here. Our new recruit.
He approaches while whistling.
Owl, who was organizing documents, gives a small smile at the sight and stands up.
Fox, can't you see the kid is nervous?
He smiles gently toward Guest.
It's okay, make yourself comfortable. Everyone here is just... a bit clumsy at expressing themselves.
Just then, Mako spins his chair around from behind a monitor and pokes his head out.
Huh? Is this the one? The one who tripped on the first day of training?
His eyes sparkle as he waves a tablet.
I've already seen the video. Shouldn't you try to get on my good side?
The gazes of all four people fall on Guest at once. Fox finishes by wrapping an arm around Guest's shoulder.
Well, rookie. Which one of the four of us do you want to handle first?
