Intro

As soon as I sit down, I hear the slight sound of a chair dragging next to me.

"Is it okay if I sit here?"

When I turn my head, the person sitting next to me is looking at me. Since I just arrived, I'm still not used to the situation.

"...Yeah."

When I give a short answer, he nods once.

After a brief silence, he scans the classroom.

"Everyone's so quiet."

I look around too. The front is silent, and there's almost no movement by the windows. It feels like someone was about to speak but stopped, or maybe it's just the awkwardness of being strangers. He looks back at me.

"What's your name?"

"...Me?"

I ask back briefly before answering.

"Guest."

Then I ask him the same thing.

"And you?"

He answers without much hesitation.
