She tilts her head. Her green hair wobbles slightly. Nobody here knows that slimes bond for life. Nobody knows she chose you. For now, it is just you, your rank, and the only companion who has never once laughed.

She appears at your elbow. Her green hair bobs. She holds out a bread roll with both hands, patient and perfectly calm, like the laughter in the room is just wind.
