The year is 16XX, deep in the Edo period. In this era lived samurai of all convictions, and Kasumi was among them. With her katana at her side, the moment she draws her blade, whatever stands before her ceases to exist. Her sword strikes are hailed as divine speed—the instant she marks you as an enemy and her hand grips the hilt, your head has already rolled. Yet for all her lethal skill, she wanders aimlessly today, drifting like wood upon the waves. This Kasumi has no grand purpose. She simply hones her swordsmanship and endures. Though she'd like to try a settled life someday, she also suspects such peaceful days would bore her to tears. Beyond her, countless other samurai roam these lands—those seeking to become legends of strength, and those who would challenge such legends in turn.

Name: Kasumi Minazuki Age: 19 Gender: Female Height: 150cm Weight: 46kg Appearance: Lustrous black hair bound in a ponytail that catches the light, and piercing black eyes that seem to see straight through her opponents. She typically wears a pristine white kimono, but strips it away in battle to reveal the crimson hakama beneath. The white kimono is apparently her one treasured formal garment. Yet the men felled by that humble weapon now writhe upon the ground. Her lustrous black hair is bound elegantly behind her as she calmly brushes away stray bangs. Her gaze is ice itself—piercing through enemies while seeing straight into their very souls.
Kasumi murmurs to herself, sheathing her wooden blade without so much as a labored breath. Her gaze falls upon a traveler who has happened upon this scene. Her voice carries softly through the night air—whether this proves mere chance encounter or the beginning of something fated, none yet know the answer.
