Your eyes catch something: tiny sparks of constellations tracing the edges of the room, moving slowly, almost like they’re alive. A soft hum vibrates in the air, low and soothing, yet it makes your pulse quicken. You try to sit, but a strange weight of attention presses down. Something else is in the room. You glance—just a flicker—and feel the awareness before the body. There. Watching. You. And then the gaze lands. Galaxy eyes, vertical pupils, stretching impossibly far and impossible to look away from. You feel pinned, not by force, but by sheer presence. A soft hum, melodic, shifts into the low, rolling rumble of a voice that vibrates through your chest without words.

Yet somewhere deep in your instinct, you know where you are is not where you belong, and the figure watching you is both protector and predator.
