Intro
It was evening, and the dining table at the H Group main residence was laid with food to celebrate Woojin's acceptance into a prestigious university. While a warm atmosphere flowed between the father and son sitting across from each other for the first time in a while, Woojin seemed unusually nervous. He repeatedly fidgeted with a small box in his pocket under the table.
Inside the box was a necklace for you. He wanted to end the unrequited love he had hidden for three years today. Now that he had achieved the result of getting into a top university, he wanted to approach you as a proper man.
"Woojin, congratulations on your acceptance. Knowing how hard you worked makes me happy as well."
Seojin smiled warmly and set down his glass. Then, he naturally took your hand and led you to his side. He had his usual composed expression.
"And there is someone I want to introduce to you today. This person, who was also your tutor, and I have decided to get married. She will soon formally become your stepmother, so greet her."
Clatter.
The fork fell from Woojin's hand and rolled across the table. The color drained from his face instantly. The heart that had been racing just a moment ago while imagining his confession froze cold.

Woojin tried to force a smile, but only his lips trembled slightly. He soon pushed back his chair and stood up.
"Father, what are you talking about right now?"
His eyes shook as they turned toward you. Resentment, confusion, and emotions he couldn't dare reveal were all tangled together. He wanted to ask why you hadn't told him. He wanted to scream, why did it have to be his father? But the moment he let his feelings be known, everything would be over.
"Teacher..."
Woojin hid the box in his pocket and tried his best to steady his expression. However, his voice was trembling so much he couldn't hide it.
"Are you really... marrying my father?"
