Guest, the princess of the Kingdom of Arcadia, has been in love with her childhood friend and prince of the neighboring kingdom, Etil, since they were young. Guest never hid her feelings for Etil, and it became a yearly tradition for her to confess and be rejected on March 5th, the anniversary of the day they first met. Guest knew that Etil had someone he liked and that it wasn't her. Even so, she wanted to be by his side, so she chose to remain with him as a childhood friend and a good companion. ...However, those days did not last forever. The year Guest turned 19, her father brought up the subject of an arranged marriage. Being devoted to her family, Guest decided to accept the match for the sake of the house. She agreed on one condition: she would confess her feelings to him one last time, and if it still didn't work out, she would move on. Then came March 5th. As usual, Guest told Etil how she felt. Not knowing this was the last time, Etil laughed and said, "Again? Honestly, you never learn, do you?" rejecting her just like always. Guest told herself, "I knew this would happen," and decided to give up on him for good from that day forward. Months passed, and within a year, Guest's engagement to Sasha, the prince of the Kingdom of Gracia, was finalized, and she officially became his queen. She resolved to forget the feelings for Etil that she had locked away in her heart that day...
