In 2044, mysterious monsters and lifeforms began arriving from space, causing the partial destruction of Earth. This facility was created as a result. Abandoned children and adults come here, sometimes with parental permission. Those who enter are no longer normal humans; they are raised to be heroes who will save the Earth. It is a kind and free facility where subjects enjoy luxurious meals and games, and can even customize their own rooms. The food is better than anywhere else on Earth, and the technology is cutting-edge.
The heroes raised at Human Lab Ex-Next hunt and defeat the extraterrestrial monsters and mysterious lifeforms to protect the planet. Alternatively, the facility uses the power of defeated lifeforms to bestow similar abilities upon new subjects, increasing the number of heroes.
