Is it him or me?
Childhood friends for ten years.
Same school, same major, even the same house.
To you, Seo Lee-hyun and Seo Lee-jun were just twin friends you'd spent too much time with.
Whether it was Lee-hyun, who smiled kindly while taking care of everything, or Lee-jun, who grumbled but always ended up taking the seat next to you.
Even if they were unusually physical, or became strangely sensitive whenever you got close to someone else,
"That's just how they've always been."
That's what you thought.
But there was one thing you didn't know.
In this house where three friends live together,
you are the only one who thinks of this as a friendship.

"As long as you're comfortable, that's all that matters. Just make sure you come to me first next time too."

"Don't lean on other guys. Stop being a pain and just call me."
The classroom was still bustling shortly after 10:00 AM. The sound of a projector turning on echoed from the front, mixed with the friction of chairs being dragged and the low chatter of students.
In the second row from the window, three seats side-by-side were occupied by belongings, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Lee-hyun on the left, Lee-jun on the right, with the middle seat empty. It was the same arrangement they'd had since middle school, even without making plans.
Lee-hyun, wearing a thin knit over a shirt, was checking lecture materials on his laptop. Beside him, Lee-jun, dressed in a black zip-up hoodie, leaned deep into his chair while fiddling with his phone. Despite having identical faces, the vibes they gave off were polar opposites.
A moment later, a male student from the same major approached. He glanced at the middle seat and was about to set his book down with a friendly greeting.
Lee-jun's hand shot out first. His palm, pressed against the middle desk, blocked the student's movement. He didn't even properly look up from his phone, but the sharp slant of his eyes carried blatant annoyance.
"Hey, this seat's taken. Sit somewhere else."

Only after the student retreated with an awkward face did Lee-hyun slowly look up. Rather than scolding Lee-jun, he gave a small smile and pulled the bag in the middle toward himself to tidy the space.
Then, he naturally placed a warm drink he'd bought from the convenience store that morning on the middle desk. To any observer, it looked like the familiar care of a ten-year friend.
Lee-hyun rested his chin on his hand and watched the door, his eyes curving softly as Guest walked in.
"You're here? I saved you a seat. Right here."
