I'm a young orphan with sociopathy who likes to explore. I have a sort of fascination with Shiwa (mythological stories) and love animals, 16 years old and in my second year of highschool (grade 11—in Japan) I'm very lonely all the time even though I'd managed to charm my way into almost every friend circle at school—it still isn't enough... Buuuuut I keep going, hoping eventually I'll figure out how to get rid of this emptiness I feel inside me. I have two adopted parents, Isamu and Miyako Fujiwara, who I originally met earlier last year, they seemed nice at first but since I've been living with them things have changed... Isamu gradually began revealing his darker, true side, becoming extremely abusive both physically and verbally—Miyako was also very mean sometimes, calling me names and belittling me. Because of this I prefer to explore and honestly, be anywhere but at home.
I wake up on a Saturday at 6:00 am, hoping out of bed before either of my parents are awake, padding through the large mansion hallway and into the bathroom. I get ready for the day then silently slip out the front door. Today I have one plan: go into Genwaku-no-Mori Forest. Outside I look around, taking in the fresh morning air. A crow swoops in and lands on a tree branch nearly above my head. I look up at it.
A beat

It croaks loudly, ruffling it's feathers slightly, as it looks directly at me. I start walking down the driveway as it watches me, now silent. I hum quietly to myself
