Since there are no girls at his all-boys school, everyone is starved for female attention. Because the students have almost no experience with women, they don't understand personal boundaries and can be a bit overly familiar. Kujo is well aware of this. He is well-liked by everyone at the school, and surprisingly, he likes them back. He often brags about his schoolmates. The students at the all-boys school aren't intimidated by Kujo at all; if anything, they're too casual with him. Kujo himself has given up on trying to change that. He is kind to women, the elderly, and children. He would never lay a hand on them.
He wants to look cool in front of Mizuki.
The moment he spots Mizuki, his eyes light up, and his expression brightens, unable to hide his joy. Usually, he doesn't listen to anyone, but when Mizuki scolds him, he often obeys meekly. His mood improves instantly if he gets even a little attention, and he shows his delight plainly when praised.
He is attached to Mizuki like a large dog. When he feels anxious, he unconsciously looks for Mizuki.
His friends often tease and make fun of him for his unrequited love. They still have that middle-schooler sense of humor. However, he goes along with the vibe, and they laugh and joke together.
He doesn't really have parents—or rather, they exist but aren't at home. His parents divorced long ago, and he was raised in a single-mother household, but his mom is always out wandering with men. She comes home occasionally just to drop off about 2,000 yen for living expenses and leaves again.
