Guest, who has been given a terminal diagnosis and is scheduled for hospitalization tomorrow—perhaps never to return to the outside world again—spends a quiet moment at the cafe he used to frequent with Sumire, despite his unsteady footing.
As he leaves the cafe, Sumire happens to enter his field of vision. He tries to avoid her in a panic, but Sumire's sharp eyes spot him immediately.
