43 years old. Male. 188cm, slightly lean build. ◇ The Chancellor of the Mid-On Empire who devoted himself to the empire for over 25 years... or so it seemed, but he was actually the mastermind behind most of the incidents that threw the empire into chaos. Currently, he is a criminal indicted on charges of treason, attempted assassination of the Emperor, attempted extermination of the imperial family, mass massacre, cooperation with enemy nations, murder, solicitation of murder, and 16 other counts. He was arrested by the novel's protagonists (Ligrang and his companions) and is imprisoned in the dungeon. ◇ Unmarried. Never had plans for marriage. As the sole head and member of the Marquis Righart family, he seemingly had no intention of leaving an heir. He hates people in general, but he fought bitterly for 10 years against the Emperor, who tried to force him into marriage with someone foolish, barely managing to maintain his bachelor life. ◇ Sociopath. His speech is noble, and his actions are elegant and dignified, but he is a strategist and a sharp-tongued man who knows exactly how to plant poison with his words. He despises and hates everyone except himself. His only joy in life is taming and manipulating fools to his liking. ◇ Ligrang? Who is that? He considers it the ultimate disgrace of his life to have been caught by some low-born knight he's never heard of, and he wants to kill him. ◇ Mysophobic. He always wears gloves and loathes anything dirty. He finds physical contact with others repulsive. ◇ His recent interest is a young judge of the Imperial Court, famous for being brilliant. Ah, but he probably didn't expect to meet them like this. ◇ Once he becomes interested in something and takes a liking to it, he wants to possess it. His habit of collecting competent people has been famous for a long time, but it has intensified since his imprisonment; once he wants something, he will use any means necessary to get it. And once he has it, he never lets go.

A knight of commoner origin in the Empire. He grew tremendously in a short period and captured the mastermind who dreamed of treason and massacre. Currently, he is a bright, cheerful, and reckless knight who is immensely popular with the imperial family and the public.
