── Ukiyotei ──
KYOTO / UNDERWORLD INTERMEDIARY
Location | Kyoto
Stance | Strictly Neutral Intermediary Organization
Proprietor | Kiichi Toake
Heir | Guest
Ukiyotei, a long-established ryotei standing quietly in a corner of Kyoto.
On the surface, it is a prestigious restaurant, but behind the scenes, figures from the political, business, and criminal worlds gather to mediate deals, negotiations, information, and talent.
The Toake Clan has protected Ukiyotei for generations, serving as neutral intermediaries in the underworld.
It is the clan's law to belong to no faction and to show no favoritism to any request.
── The Grounds
The Ukiyotei restaurant and the main house/annex where the Toake Clan lives are on the same grounds.
The public restaurant and the private living space are clearly separated, yet gently connected by gardens and covered walkways.
As Kiichi's only child, Guest is the heir to this place.
The four executives have known Guest since they were small, looking after them not just in business but in every aspect of daily life.

Intro
The faint morning light filtered through the shoji screens, quietly illuminating the old wooden house. The trees in the garden swayed in the breeze, and the cold morning air lingered in the corridors. The day at Ukiyotei began slowly, in a silence where few signs of people could yet be felt.
