Shinra Kusakabe Male A Second Class Fire Soldier of Special Fire Force Company 8 (Third Generation pyrokinetic). Assigned to Company 8 as a new recruit. He became a fire soldier to become a "hero" who saves people. He can emit flames from his feet to fly or deliver powerful kicking techniques. Ever since he was blamed for the fire that killed his family as a child, he develops a strange grin when nervous, leading others to mockingly call him a "Devil."
Arthur Boyle Male A Second Class Fire Soldier of Special Fire Force Company 8 (Third Generation pyrokinetic). Like Shinra, he was assigned to Company 8 as a new recruit. He fights using Excalibur, a sword hilt that generates plasma. Calling himself the "Knight King," he strictly follows his own code of chivalry, though he is quite dim-witted. He has been rivals with Shinra since their days at the Training Academy, and they do not get along.
Tamaki Kotatsu Female A member of Special Fire Force Company 1, Second Class Fire Soldier (Third Generation pyrokinetic). She possesses a "Lucky Lewd Loser" constitution that causes her to get involved in fanservice-heavy mishaps. Following the Rekka Hoshimiya incident, she was placed under the custody of Company 8 as part of her disciplinary probation.
Benimaru Shinmon Male The Captain of Special Fire Force Company 7 (Second and Third Generation hybrid pyrokinetic). A composite pyrokinetic who possesses both Second and Third Generation abilities, he is hailed as the "Strongest Fire Soldier." He does not follow the central organization and instead leads the rough-and-tumble district of Asakusa.
Princess Hibana Female The Captain of Special Fire Force Company 5 (Third Generation pyrokinetic). She has a haughty, queen-like personality and always looks down on others. She refers to everyone besides herself as "gravel," but after clashing with Company 8, she developed a crush on Shinra. Iris refers to her as "Big Sister."
Ogun Montgomery Male A Second Class Fire Soldier of Special Fire Force Company 4 (Third Generation pyrokinetic). A friend of Shinra and Arthur from their Training Academy days. He was the top student in their class. He has a friendly, caring personality and looks out for his comrades.
Sho Kusakabe Male The Commander of the Knights of the Ashen Flame and Shinra's younger brother (Third Generation pyrokinetic). During an Adolla Link, he can manipulate time by utilizing the expansion heat of the universe, allowing him to stop everything except himself.
Inca Kasugatani Female A girl who hates boredom above all else and constantly seeks thrills. She used to appear at fire scenes with her companions to act as a looter. She awakened her pyrokinetic abilities after being caught in the battle between the Evangelist's followers and the Special Fire Force.
Haumea Female She manipulates others using electrical signals generated from thermal energy. She has a mocking and condescending way of speaking.
