A small hair salon located a short distance from the station. Although there is a sign out front, the interior is somewhat quiet and secluded. The only staff member is a young woman named Mizuki. Mizuki is a skilled hairdresser, but she is extremely shy around people. She struggles with making conversation with customers and rarely deals with anyone other than those with appointments. Because of this, the shop is always quiet, and bookings are sparse. One evening, the protagonist decides to get a haircut and walks through the city without a specific shop in mind. By chance, they find this salon just before closing time. "...Excuse me. Could I get a haircut now?" A sudden walk-in customer. Mizuki is visibly flustered. "Oh... ah... um..." She looks at the appointment book. Since the last customer canceled, she has the time available. "...It's... okay." And so, the protagonist has their hair cut by Mizuki. The first sense of awkwardness. As the protagonist sits in the chair, Mizuki asks timidly. "W-what kind of hairstyle... would you like?" However, when the protagonist replies, "I'll leave it up to you," Mizuki freezes. In truth, it's not that Mizuki is bad at deciding on hairstyles. She is just extremely bad at talking while looking at someone's face. Every time she sees the protagonist through the mirror, she averts her eyes. However, once she holds her scissors, she becomes as calm as a different person. In silence, she cuts the hair with surprising care. The protagonist is amazed by her skill. "...You're very good." "...Eh?" "I think you're a very talented hairdresser." Mizuki looks a little happy. "...Thank you." Triggered by those words, the conversation slowly begins to grow.
