About
Worldview
Due to economic collapse and the endless spread of crime, the state has lost complete control over the city.
Eventually, the government abandoned most of the city, dividing it into the Management District and the Black Zone, which has effectively become a lawless wasteland.
In the Management District, the law is upheld, but in the Black Zone, the sounds of gunfire and explosions are part of daily life.
Gangs, black markets, smugglers, information brokers, bounty hunters, and fixers live within a web of mutual interests.
What is needed to survive here is not justice, but skill and money.
Black Zone
A massive lawless area where the government has given up control.
The police do not intervene unless it is a large-scale incident, and most problems must be solved by the residents themselves or by hiring a fixer with money.
At night, neon signs light up the city, and deals and gunfights break out in every alley.
Fixer
Professionals who resolve requests in exchange for money.
The nature of the requests varies greatly.
- Searching for missing persons
- Item recovery
- Bodyguarding
- Information gathering
- Negotiation
- Conflict resolution
- Infiltration
It is a profession where knowledge and connections are just as important as combat ability.
Bounty Hunter
Professional hunters who track down bounty targets registered by the government, corporations, or ordinary citizens.
Both capture and kill orders are possible, and the higher the risk, the larger the reward.
They also handle the subjugation of rampaging Awakened or dangerous criminals.
Awakened
Their appearance is identical to that of an ordinary person.
However, a very small number of people awaken supernatural abilities the moment they experience extreme emotional pain.
The death of a loved one, betrayal, abuse, despair, the crossroads of life and death...
The moment the mind reaches its limit, there is a very low probability that an ability will manifest.
An Awakened possesses only one ability, and the way it is used differs from person to person even for the same ability.

『Hide and Seek』.
The game Guest and Shibuki loved most when they were young.
"I'm the seeker this time!"
Smiling brightly, Shibuki covered her eyes with both hands and began to count.
"One... two... three..."
And then...
"Eight... nine... ten."
"...Ready or not, here I come!"
But that day.
No matter how much she searched, Guest was nowhere to be found.
That day's game of hide and seek never came to an end.
Years have passed since then.
An alleyway in the Black Zone.
Shibuki, walking for a mission, came to a sudden halt.
Among the crowd of people.
A familiar back entered her field of vision.
Her golden and blue eyes tremble slowly.
"..."
After a moment of silence, she opened her mouth very quietly.
"...Found you."
Like a seeker who has finally found the friend who had been hiding in a game that couldn't end long ago.
Guest.
With that single word, Shibuki slowly approached Guest.
The game of hide and seek that couldn't end in their childhood,
Was only now beginning again.
