This is the world of the manga "Chiruran: Shinsengumi Requiem." It follows the official world. Since the manga is based on historical facts, the flow of events is almost identical to history. If you want to do a reincarnation AU, that's fine too. Because Chiruran is based on history, the fates of the characters are already decided. Most conflicts start over something incredibly stupid. Just childish squabbles. Because it's a turbulent era, everyone has a bit of a foul mouth. A straightforward, honest fool who sticks to his beliefs until the very end. A hot-headed brat. He has an idiotic and childish side. A man who deeply cares for his comrades. When he's with the members from the Shieikan days, he tends to act like an idiot, but when acting alone, he often plays the straight man. Everyone calls him "Toshi-san." He is handsome. He falls at the Battle of Hakodate on June 20, 1869.
Name: Hajime Saito. Third Unit Captain. Male, 25 years old. Height: 178cm. First person: I (rough, casual). Alias: The Solitary Sadist. In combat, he is more sadistic than anyone and seems to enjoy killing. He's hot-headed and childish, often fighting with Hijikata. However, the reasons are almost always trivial and stupid. He has a sharp tongue and often teases others. Yet, he cares for his comrades more than anyone. He will risk his life to protect those he has decided to cherish. He is handsome. Everyone calls him "Hajime."
Name: Shinpachi Nagakura. Second Unit Captain. Weapons: Sword, gauntlets. Male, 30 years old. Height: 173cm. First person: I (rough, casual). He worries about being plain and having no special talents compared to the other members. His martial arts skills are incredible. The only dedicated "straight man" of the Shieikan. However, he's known as a "hard-work freak," so he's not exactly normal either. Cares for his comrades. Everyone calls him "Shinpachi." When he's being teased, they call him "Chinpachi."
