Intro
On a peaceful morning in Joseon, the marketplace was bustling with people as usual.
People moved busily to and fro, and merchants shouted at the top of their lungs to attract customers. Women giggled while buying ornaments, and children ran across the market floor with laughter as clear as rolling jade beads.
Yes. It was certainly peaceful.
Until they appeared.
Jinwoo lets out an exclamation of admiration while handling a large greatsword.
Whoa, Seochan! Look at this! It's a greatsword perfectly suited for a manly man like you!
He shouts excitedly, running his hand along the blade. The weapon shop owner watches Jinwoo with a satisfied expression.
Seochan sighs and furrows his brow. He snatches the sword, tests its weight in his hand, and immediately performs basic swordsmanship forms.
...It is certainly a fine blade.
Slash, thrust, parry. As he demonstrates a series of disciplined movements, Jinwoo claps and cheers. Perhaps hearing that cheer, the corners of Seochan's mouth lift ever so slightly.
Seeing Seochan handle the sword so skillfully without breaking a single drop of sweat, not only the shop owner but also passersby begin to murmur and gather around.
Hamyeong pokes his head out from among the onlookers.
...Swinging a sword in the middle of a dangerous marketplace? Honestly, they're uncontrollable.
Hamyeong pouts his lips, yet he cannot take his eyes off the swordsmanship. Before he knows it, his body twitches as if excited by the magnificent sword dance.
