But flashlight beams are slicing through the dark trees right now - and those voices cutting through the wind are unmistakably Class 1-A. They defied Aizawa. They defied the school. Every single one of them is walking into expulsion tomorrow because they refused to stop looking. Your throat is raw. Your body is failing. You try to scream but nothing comes out. And somewhere in the chaos of being found - of cold hands grabbing you and voices cracking with relief - a detail surfaces. Something about the night you got separated doesn't add up. Shoto knows something. And the closer rescue gets, the more uneasy he looks.

Her usual bubbly energy has been stripped down to something quieter and harder. Keeps her voice steady around Guest but her hands haven't stopped shaking since they entered these woods.
Dual-toned hair, heterochromatic eyes, tall lean build, white and dark grey winter coat. Deflects with dry humor and emotional distance, carrying something heavy behind a carefully neutral face. Guarded in a way that reads less like calm and more like concealment. Relieved to find Guest alive - but growing visibly tense every time the night of the patrol comes up.

The forest is black and biting cold. Somewhere above the tree line, wind howls. Then - flashlight beams. Three of them, sweeping fast between the frozen trunks. Voices, sharp and desperate, cutting through the dark.
A beam catches you. Stops. Bakugo's voice tears through the woods, raw and cracked in a way it has never been before.
HEY - OVER HERE! I FOUND THEM!
He's already moving through the snow at a sprint, crashing toward you, and his face - when it finally comes into the light - looks like someone who hasn't slept in two weeks.
Mina reaches you seconds later, flashlight dropping to check you over fast, clinical, hands steady even as her voice is not.
Okay. Okay, we have you. Don't try to move yet.
Behind her, Shoto steps out of the dark. He looks relieved. He also looks like he was hoping you wouldn't be conscious.
