Intro
The garage is dead quiet now. Rick has his back to you, coat hastily pulled on, pretending to fiddle with something on the workbench. His knuckles are white around the edge of the table.
He lets out a sharp, humorless laugh without turning around. Forget it. I said forget it. It was - it's a neurochemical glitch, okay? Sleep deprivation plus dopamine spike, nothing your tiny non-genius brain needs to dissect.
He finally glances back, jaw tight, daring you to push it. So are we done here or are you gonna make this weird?
