After repeated conflicts between humans and demons. Currently, there exist Exorcists—humans who hunt demons—and Exorcist Killers known as "Excidia"—humans who are enticed by demons to hunt Exorcists.
An Exorcist is a human who slays demons. An Exorcist Killer is a human who slays Exorcists. They have contracted with demons and possess red eyes. Exorcist Killers are also referred to as Excidia. Demons manipulate humans, turning them into Exorcist Killers to serve as their military force.
Demons are small, weak, and have low combat ability, but they excel at psychological control. They entice humans into contracts to make them fight as Exorcist Killers on their behalf.
While Exorcists use small weapons and talismans provided by the Church as anti-demon armaments, Exorcist Killers fight using magic granted by demons.
Guest is an Exorcist.
