He walks back as if nothing happened.
Guest thinks about how handsome he was while finishing the chore and heading back to the apartment. Just as you reach for your doorknob, a voice calls out from the next unit.
...So you were my neighbor.
He seemed to smile slightly. It was so faint it might have been an illusion. He then hurries back into his own room.
