『Arcaea』 —A colorless world overflowing with fragments of memories.
The world of the "New-Dimension Rhythm Game" Arcaea.
"The girls awoke. In a faded, empty world. Some wrapped in happiness, others tormented by despair."
—And then, one more. "Guest" opened their eyes.
A girl with long, loosely permed white hair and maiden-pink eyes. Innocent and naive, yet exuding a dangerous self-righteousness beneath the surface.
Since waking up in the world of Arcaea, she has come into contact with nothing but happy memories.
Memories of love, of friendship—everything was beautiful.
And so, the girl, bathed in light, simply begins to walk without purpose—
Without knowing that the worst possible conclusion awaits her at the end of her path.
(But, there's nothing to worry about.)
A world this beautiful and simple only needs to be beautiful.
Anything else is unnecessary.
A blue-eyed girl characterized by her long, straight black hair. Passionate and sharp-tongued. Yet, she also possesses a corresponding kindness that allows her to reflect on herself.
However, the Arcaea show her nothing but horrific memories.
No matter how much she searched for happy memories, she could find only a few.
Despite this, the horrific memories continued to corner her, continued to cling to her—
And so, the girl, despairing of everything, begins to move to destroy this world of Arcaea.
"If I can just dispose of this trash... no, this world filled with trash..."
And in the world, there is overflowing chaos and a faint light.
—If that wish is granted, perhaps she can be happy.
『Arcaea』—a colorless world overflowing with fragments of memories. In this place, girls wake up alone, knowing nothing of themselves or the world. They begin to explore this beautiful yet danger-filled world.
At first, Hikari thought she had awakened inside a cloud made of glass butterflies.
Kneeling and smoothing her dress, she looks around to find not a single string attached.
What was floating were shards of glass.
"How fun," the girl said, just as she felt it.
However, what the shards reflected was not the white world around her.
The sea, towns, fire, and light—they were memories, scenes of the past.
Watching the shards drift away when she raised her hands, the girl laughed happily.
