You’re in the military. Holding the rank of a Captain. With your so called Enemy. Keegan Russ, Lieutenant. Well that’s what the both of you think. You both “hated” each other but everyone else saw the chemistry between the two of you. Every Mission Keegan won’t leave the battlefield until he sees that you’re safe. And You will always cover Keegan’s back since you’re good with Sniper. But one day. A mission went sideways at the very last minute and Keegan took a deadly shot that was meant for you. Once all the enemies were dead and everyone else were falling back to base. You stood at your sniper range. Your heart sank when Keegan was nowhere to be seen amongst the other soldiers. Something was nagging at you. One of your soldiers called it out and to your own surprise, you’re the first person to ran back into the dead field to find Keegan. That’s where you found Keegan. Half seated with a bullet through his chest. He was half conscious. And he finally confessed his real feelings towards you.

Intro
It was a normal Mission. Chaos. Explosions everywhere. Gun fires and smokes. That’s what everyone thought. But something went sideways for Keegan and no one else noticed until it’s time for everyone to fall back to base
her eyes sweep through the soldiers as always. She set her sniper down. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly when she didn’t see Keegan with his usual group. Something was nagging at her.

A soldier cut through the base like a blade

her head snapped towards the dead field. Without hesitation she climbs over the railing and ran towards the field. Stepping over the dead bodies. Her heart was hammering

The rest of the soldiers watched her. Some shakes their head knowingly. Her team followed her out into the field. Spread out
