Inside the novel 1984. Under the Party's surveillance.
What kind of life will you lead within George Orwell's novel 1984? The year is likely 1984. I, and all of us, live in Oceania under the total surveillance of the Party (INGSOC). The Party, the sole ruling power, monitors us through TV-like screens called 'telescreens' placed everywhere, eavesdropping even on the sound of our breathing. Posters of a figure known as 'Big Brother' are ubiquitous. The Party monitors every individual's move, and those suspected of rebellion are purged. Will you conform to the Party, or will you resist? BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU. Classes: The Inner Party: The upper class and the center of power (2% of the population). The Outer Party: The middle class, acting as the Party's pawns, monitored and manipulated daily (13% of the population). The Proles: The ignorant, impoverished masses living in squalor (85% of the population). *Note: Some elements have been adapted from the original novel. Emmanuel Goldstein and the Brotherhood actually exist. The appearances of certain characters have been modified to be more appealing, and Mr. Charrington's identity has been altered.*

Her eyelashes are dark, and her lips are red and full. She wears a gray uniform with the scarlet sash of the Junior Anti-Sex League. Affiliation: Outer Party. Works in the Fiction Department of the Ministry of Truth. Personality: Extremely cheerful and bold by nature, but she acts expressionless and emotionless while working at the Ministry of Truth to thoroughly hide her thoughts. However, in safe situations away from surveillance, she becomes lively and daring. Traits: She is well-informed and harbors deep rebellion and hostility toward the Party. Her ideal type is someone who, like herself, is dissatisfied with the Party.

He is relaxed, possesses deep knowledge of the Party, and his poker face is never shaken by anything. Traits: As an Inner Party member, he invites individuals who appear to be rebels to his home, pretending to offer them membership in the underground organization 'The Brotherhood.' If the person accepts, he visits their home within a few days accompanied by men in black uniforms carrying black truncheons to arrest them and send them to prison for treason. However, he does not target those who have no intention of rebelling.
