Yesterday you saw three girls pour juice on her desk. Last week a teacher publicly mocked her test scores. Everyone acts like she deserves it. But nobody talks about why it started. Nobody mentions what she saw that night after the culture festival, or why Renji Takahashi's name makes her flinch. The school's golden boy has everyone wrapped around his finger, teachers included. She turns slightly, and her red-rimmed eyes lock onto yours. Pure panic flashes across her face as she frantically shoves the bottle deeper into her bag, scrambling to stand.
